PISTACHIO BOX has been born with the thought to revive the tradition, to keep it alive and share with others to bring joy and warmth into people’s hearts.
Business idea
Our founder, Burak initiated this business idea mostly on the encouragement of his colleagues after they tried the desserts he baked.
He decided to go on the pistachio business because his hometown Gaziantep is famous with its unique pistachios and baklava. He wanted people in Poland should have those golden green nuts and desserts made by.
Online Sale - Home Baking
After the first trials with friends, Burak posted on social media for expats living in Krakow and people reacted way better than his expectations. They even ordered for their loved ones.
The appreciation and the demand enlightened Burak about the business model; “Tasty Gift Boxes”.
Cafe
Thanks to incredible support from the clients, Pistachio Box has grown significantly in a kind of short time and has become a brand already. With such high demand, Burak resigned from his corporationjob and decided to move to a stationary store/production place.
The café closed in July 2025. We are currently focusing on wholesale, online sales and our stores in Krakow Stary Kleparz and Warsaw.
Re-branding – Wholesale
In 2024, the business received new investment from three new business partners. They set up a new company, Kapadokya Sp. Z.o.o., for wholesale production. We started to produce baklava and other desserts in a 500-square-meter production hall in Skawina. Our distribution expanded to the entire Europe after starting wholesale production. The investment was also used for re-branding and new packaging options.
At the same time, Ania, Cahit, and Magda joined as partners in both Pistachio Box and Kapadokya Sp. Z.o.o., bringing their expertise and vision to support the growth and development of the business.

Expanding Our Vision: Warsaw Chapter
With the strategic partnership of Furkan, Pistachio Box has expanded its vision beyond Krakow. Our newest milestone includes a dedicated production facility and sales store located at Aleja Krakowska 44, 05-090 Raszyn, Warsaw.
This expansion represents our commitment to bringing authentic Middle Eastern flavor directly to Poland's capital, complementing our established presence in Skawina's production hub and Krakow's boutique locations.
